
Alpha Esquires is a mentorship initiative designed for male students in grades 8-12 who are currently attending schools within the service region of the Sigma Eta Lambda Foundation, Inc (SELF).
Our mentors focus on fostering leadership abilities, increasing career awareness, encouraging community engagement, assisting with educational planning, enhancing oral communication capabilities, promoting health and social consciousness. Each Esquire is paired with a dedicated mentor from SELF.

Key Initiatives
Go-To-High School, Go-To College
This program emphasizes the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a pathway to advancement and success. Through interactive workshops and college readiness sessions, participants gain essential skills in goal setting, study habits, financial literacy, and the college application process.
Project Alpha
This program equips young men ages 12–15 with the knowledge, awareness, and skills needed to make responsible decisions that impact their future. Through engaging workshops and guided discussions, participants explore topics such as personal accountability, healthy relationships, decision-making, and the consequences of their choices
